JOHN AND SUE
John and Sue Shanks have been the sole owners and managers of Trents since it opened in 1997. Prior to starting Trents they came from structural engineering and nursing backgrounds and travelled extensively. When they don’t have a wedding or function on, John runs the 50 acre farm and Sue attends to her horses, garden or wedding and function enquiries. The property has been in the Shanks family for the past 45 years.

ABOUT US
Due to increasing demands for wedding receptions, after 8 years of also operating as an `A la Carte restaurant, Trent's became a function venue in 2005 in order to allow the whole day to be devoted to one wedding or function, ensuring that everything is dealt with in a timely and stress free manner.
Please feel welcome to visit us at Trents. A good time to come out is when we are setting up for another wedding most Fridays and Saturdays from September to April, between 12 and 1.30 pm. Please ask for the wedding information pack and look at the Wedding Albums.
